Approximately 2.5 million young individuals face homelessness every year. Beyond the loss of their homes, communities, friends, and daily routines, homeless youth frequently experience trauma. Being on the streets exposes them to various dangers, such as substance abuse, early parenthood, impulsivity, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and vulnerability to trafficking. It is essential to increase awareness about the challenges homeless youth and their families encounter and to support initiatives that can improve their well-being.
